The attempt by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOB leader and representative of the Indigenous People of Biafra, to regain freedom, failed.

Kanu’s appeal for bail was denied by Justice Binta Nyako of an Abuja Federal High Court.

The leader of IPOB asked the court’s approval to disregard the earlier decision cancelling his bail.

Kanu has not given the court enough justification to overrule its order, according to Justice Binta Nyako’s ruling on Tuesday.

As a result, she denied the application on the grounds that it was an abuse of the legal system.
