Festus Keyamo, spokesman for the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) presidential campaign council, has made fun of Labour Party backers for their support of the “no shishi” campaign.
This is in response to a video that appeared online showing some party members and supporters fighting over cash.
On Friday, Keyamo shared a video of a fight between LP supporters and the group’s members as they fight over money. The video was posted on his verified Twitter account.
‘We no dey give shi shi’ fighting over ‘shi shi’. ‘You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.’….Abraham Lincoln pic.twitter.com/BHe5ZiXkrI

In order to illustrate his claim that the supporters shouldn’t believe they can consistently fool everyone, he used former American president Abraham Lincoln.
“We no dey give shi shi,” he wrote, “fighting over’shi shi’.
Abraham Lincoln once said, “You can fool some people all the time and all the people part of the time, but you can’t fool all the people all the time.”
Remember that Labour Party supporters have always bragged about how their organization and its candidates operate under the precept of “no shishi,” suggesting that they won’t give out “free” money to anyone.
