Arsenal’s Europa League clash with PSV Eindhoven rescheduled for October
The match between PSV Eindhoven and Arsenal in the Europa League has been rescheduled for October 20.
Due to police resource concerns relating to the Queen’s passing, the match was originally scheduled to be played on Thursday evening but was postponed.
Arsenal’s match against Manchester City, which was originally scheduled for October 19, has been postponed by the Premier League. There had been concerns that Arsenal might have had to forfeit the match if a new date couldn’t be found.
On October 20, UEFA announced that the game will now begin at 6 p.m.
The statement added, “UEFA would like to thank the Premier League and the teams involved for their flexibility and co-operation in the rescheduling of the UEFA Europa League match, which had been postponed due to the inability of local police services to guarantee its secure staging.
